Tetra CO2 Laser/CoolPeel

SmartXide Tetra CO2 Laser

The SmartXide Tetra CO2 Laser by Deka uses the gold-standard CO2 technology in skin resurfacing to enhance the appearance of your skin while treating wrinkles, fine lines, skin laxity, age spots, acne scars, sun damage, surgical scars, and more. CO2 lasers remove or ablate skin tissue to stimulate new collagen production and tighten skin. What makes this CO2 laser unique and the most advanced is its multiple settings to deliver customizable, safe treatments from more ablative treatments (Deka Pulse), which target more severe skin issues, to the award-winning “no downtime” CoolPeel treatment that is only available on this device.

CoolPeel™

CoolPeel is an innovative, safe, and effective treatment that offers the benefits of a traditional fractional ablative CO2 laser treatment with minimal downtime or pain. It targets the most superficial layer of skin to reveal new, fresh skin for a more youthful appearance and can be used anywhere on the face or body. CoolPeel is safe for most skin types, and there is minimal risk of hyperpigmentation, which can be seen with other laser treatments.

Tetra Deka Pulse Co2 Laser Resurfacing

This is the gold standard in CO2 Laser Resurfacing and the most advanced device for providing unparalleled laser resurfacing results. This treatment will likely offer you the best results if you suffer from acne scarring, deep wrinkles, or skin laxity. It involves more downtime than the CoolPeel but typically will only need one treatment to see a dramatic improvement in your skin that can last years. If you are interested in this service, please get in touch with our office to schedule a consultation with one of our advanced laser providers to determine if you are a candidate. We have a pre-treatment protocol for this service to help minimize downtime and possible side effects that we will implement 1 to 2 weeks before your treatment.

BEFORE AND AFTERS

FAQs

  • Fine lines and wrinkles
  • Sun damage and pigmentation
  • Scarring
  • Uneven tone and texture
  • Signs of aging

The most effective in treating wrinkles, signs of aging, skin texture, and other flaws in the skin. With its unique pulse control, the CoolPeelTM procedure can only be performed with the Tetra CO2 Laser. The high-peak power and short pulse deliver a fractional ablative treatment without thermal (heat) damage to the surrounding tissue. No thermal damage means downtime is highly controlled and minimized, while impressive, superficial skin-resurfacing results are delivered.

Our providers will discuss an appropriate treatment plan based on your concerns and needs. At Sculpted, we typically recommend 3 CoolPeel treatments 4-6 weeks apart for best results and yearly maintenance.

Immediately following CoolPeel treatment, which takes about 15 minutes to complete, you may have a mild sunburn sensation for 1-3 hours and mild redness for 1-2 days. Your skin will have a “sandpaper-like” texture for up to a week as your new, glowing skin is revealed; however, after 24 hours, you can wear mineral makeup if needed.

The Cool Peel results will develop as the treated skin heals. Patients will see that fresh skin will usually be revealed within a week as the damaged treated surface layer falls away, with results improving over several weeks as new collagen is formed. Texture concerns, sun damage, age spots and pigmentation, and overall dull skin will all significantly improve as new, healthier skin continues to surface.

Before your treatment, start two weeks before avoiding sun exposure and one week before stopping using retinol/retinoids/glycolic acids/AHAs. You must be off Accutane for 6 months. If you have a history of cold sores, please get in touch with our office, and we will prescribe prophylactic anti-viral drugs to help prevent an outbreak. For darker skin complexions, our providers may prescribe hydroquinone skin lightener to help reduce the risk of hyperpigmentation; however, this is not necessary for most skin types with CoolPeel due to its gentle approach and safety.

After your treatment, stay away from sun exposure for 2 weeks. Avoid using products with substances such as retinols/retinoids/AHAs/Glycolic acid/Vitamin C for 1 week. Your provider will give you a list of safe products to use and help you heal quicker after your treatment. Avoid makeup and sunscreen and exercise for a minimum of 24 hours.

Owner & Injector

Hi! I’ve been a Registered Nurse for 12 years and a Family Nurse Practitioner for 9. I’ve spent the last 6 years as an Advanced Injector and absolutely love what I do.

My passion for aesthetics began in my teens and early 20s when I struggled with acne and melasma. That experience sparked a deep interest in skincare and a desire to find treatments that truly work.

In my late 20s, my focus shifted toward slowing the aging process and maintaining a youthful, refreshed appearance—which ultimately led me into the world of aesthetic injectables.

I’m passionate about helping others feel confident in their own skin by delivering natural, balanced results through safe and effective treatments.

My artistic abilities, eye for symmetry, and dedication to continuing education and training to perfect my techniques have been crucial assets in becoming the injector I am today. I have received certification in injectables through AMET, EMPIRE, and AAFE and have trained with some of the top injectors in the industry, including Erika Barry, Dr. Arthur Swift, Audrey Rose, Victoria Pressley, and Inna Prokopenko. I have also attended elite training courses through Allergan, Merz, Prollenium, and Galderma and attended sought-after conferences such as Swift Beauty, ARI Cadaver Course, and Modern Beauty. I will also be a Revanesse Versa trainer for other injectors starting this winter, which has always been a goal of mine. In my free time, I love to cook, spend time with my family and friends, and travel the world. I look forward to meeting you and helping you achieve your aesthetic goals!
