PRP/PRF
PRP/PRF
PRF, or “Liquid Gold,” as we like to call it, is the perfect solution to stimulate cell growth within the body. The patient’s blood is drawn, processed, and then used for treatment. The amazing benefits of PRF can be used to give a natural filling effect to areas such as the tear troughs and nasolabial folds and help treat fine lines and dark circles. It also can stimulate hair growth, diminish the appearance of scarring, encourage the body’s collagen production, and much more.
PRF, also considered the second-generation PRP, is one of the most natural ways to induce collagen. It is obtained via a blood draw and spun via a centrifuge to create a fibrin matrix. PRF is superior to PRP because the growth factors last much longer, producing superior results and typically requiring fewer treatments. It also accelerates the healing process. You can use PRF in either an injection or through micro punctures created in the skin’s dermis layer.
TREATMENT
Facial Injections
PRF can be strategically injected into facial areas to promote collagen production, tighten loose skin, improve texture, and soften the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Come to your appointment hydrated, nourished, and ready to have a blood sample drawn.
Scar Treatment
PRF can be injected or microneedled into the skin on the face and body to diminish the appearance of stretch marks and superficial and surgical scarring. Treating surgical scars with PRF requires more than one appointment to achieve the best result. Schedule a consultation with Sculpted Aesthetics to discuss your unique case!
Hair Restoration
If you struggle with thin, weak, or brittle hair, PRF injections might be the answer you are looking for! PRF is an industry-leading treatment for hair restoration. To achieve optimal results, hair restoration with PRF will likely take 3-4 treatments spaced 4-6 weeks apart.
